Editing and proofreading
If you have a text already translated, but you are unsure about its quality, our editors and proofreaders can help you review it. Your document is checked first to ensure that the ideas of the original text are conveyed, the terminology is consistent, and the style guide, if any, is followed; then it is reviewed again to enhance the document with improved sentence structure, clarity, and style. The last step of this process, proofreading, is only performed by native speakers.
Localization
If you want to go global, you must go local. This means that documents or websites must be adapted (localized) to make their content relevant to foreign audiences, to the geographical region where such content is going to be read. It is easier to make your customers commit if they fully understand what they are being offered by you. Our goal is to eliminate words or expressions that will produce local resistance, we want to produce a text that looks and feels as if it were originally created for your target audience.
Machine translation (MT) post-editing
- Our linguists can review a translation generated by a machine and can make the necessary corrections to make it intelligible and 100% correct. You can provide us with the text already translated or we can use a machine and translate and post-edit it for you.
Linguistic validation and third-party review
We are contacted by other translation companies to linguistically validate their clients’ texts to ensure that the quality expected is reflected throughout the document.
Proofing
We provide format review of the final document so that the translation mirrors the source text.
